Fall Travel League

LAYSA sponsors teams that travel in the fall.  The purpose of this program is to provide a higher level of competition and increased opportunities to play soccer.  Travel teams typically practice twice each week and play games on  Sundays throughout Central Maine with half the games played at home in Auburn. Travel soccer requires a higher level of commitment. Players are expected to attend all practices and games during the soccer season. The travel season (U11-U14) begins Sunday August 23 and can go through the first week of November. The travel season (U9-U10) starts Sunday August 30 and goes through the end of October. There is a tournament on Columbus Day weekend and end of season playoffs or festivals. The fee for the fall 2026 travel season is $200.00. This includes all costs including team uniforms. If a player is not named to a travel team roster they will be placed on a house league team and the difference in registration fees will be refunded.  A full refund less a $10 admin fee will be issued on request.

Fall 2026 LAYSA Travel Tryouts 

All tryouts will be held at the LAYSA soccer complex located behind the Auburn Middle School .

No rain dates unless heavy downpours. Report on time with ball, shin guards, and water.

You must be registered with LAYSA before tryouts **NO EXCEPTIONS**

“Soccer age” is your age on 7/31/2026. The “U” stands for under so U10 means 9 years of age as of 7/31/2026.

You must register 30 minutes before your tryout at the concession stand and receive a number for your shirt.
