LAYSA is always looking for youth soccer referees for our house and travel soccer programs. In order to referee, you need to take and pass a referee course put on by the state organization. You must be at least 14 in order to take the course.
NEW REFEREE CLINICs 2023
There are a number of 2 day new youth soccer referee courses scheduled for this summer You must first register as a “new user” at https://mainerefs.gameofficials.net and then go a course and register. The cost is $115.00 and you must be age 14 by the first day of your course.
RECERTIFICATION CLINICS 2023
The final recertification classes have been scheduled for April 5, April 16 & May 7 (last class). You must register for the course on the game officials website
All recertification classes will be done by zoom, last 2 hours and will feature the new rules for 2023 and a review of last year’s rules.
Please remember that all referees must attend a yearly recertification class.
